This is how CM Mamta Banerjee lashed out at BJP
Without naming the BJP, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “They (BJP) have been calling goons from outside the state to manage communal riots.” No one stopped their processions but they do not have the right to march with swords and bulldozers. How dare they do this in Howrah?”

‘People will one day reject him’
According to news agency ANI, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “Why did he change the route and take the route without permission to specifically target a community?” If they have the confidence to attack others and seek relief through legal interventions, they must know that the public will one day reject them. Those who have not done anything wrong will not be arrested.” With this, CM Mamta said, “How do BJP workers have the courage to run bulldozers on people’s homes?”
‘Those involved in violence will not be spared’
According to news agency PTI, CM Mamata concluded her 30-hour dharna at a demonstration in the city, saying, “I have repeatedly said that no Ram Navami procession will be stopped.” Clear instructions were given to the police in this regard. One community is celebrating Annapurna Puja, while the other is fasting during Ramzan. CM said, those involved in violence will not be spared. I do not support the rioters and consider them enemies of the country. BJP has always targeted Howrah. Their targets are Park Circus and Islampur. Everyone should be careful in their localities.
BJP retaliated on CM Mamta’s allegations
Senior BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari termed CM Mamta’s allegations as baseless. He said, “The Chief Minister and the state administration are responsible for the violence.” With this, Shubhendu Adhikari said in a tweet, “I am complaining to the Honorable Chief Secretary of West Bengal about the deteriorating law and order situation in Shibpur, Howrah, Dalkhola and Uttar Dinajpur.” Urge to take immediate action to control.
Where did the clashes happen?
