Wrestlers Protest Update: Farmer leader Naresh Tikait has been successful in persuading the famous wrestlers of the country who reached the river Ganga on the pretext of medals. Wrestlers are returning without distributing the medals. Naresh Tikait had collected the medal after reaching Har Ki Pauri and has asked him for five days time. Naresh Tikait told ABP News that as soon as we came to know about the arrival of the players, we immediately left for here. We came here and spread the bag in front of our children that do not take such a step.
Naresh Tikait said that I told him that this step will turn the land here red. We do not want any tension anywhere in the country. It is a matter of the future and honor of the children. He has brought laurels to the country by winning the medal. Today these players have to protest like this. Why did the police misbehave with these players on 28th May? He alleged that the BJP is protecting the guilty.
The farmer leader told that we and the rest of the people talked to him and he did not avoid our talk. We will not let our children’s heads down. Tikait further said that now no one is allowed to raise their voice in this country. What happened to PM Modi’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao slogan? A ruler should do good work. Instead of saving the guilty, punish them. Talk to the players with respect and let the matter be resolved.
