Pregnant Woman Suicide Case: A 25-year-old pregnant woman committed suicide near Rama Krishnapuram beach in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Police found the body of a woman buried in the sand on the beach on Wednesday (April 26) morning. The local people present on the beach informed the police about the dead body. The police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody and sent it to King George Hospital for postmortem.
Police told that they found the dead body of the woman in half clothes. The case is being investigated. The people present on the beach were also questioned for a long time. Newport Police Inspector Suvari Ramu said that the woman, a resident of Pedagantyada area, was missing from her in-laws’ house since Tuesday (April 25) evening after leaving a suicide note in her room.
The woman was five months pregnant
The police further said that the in-laws of the woman had lodged a missing complaint with them. The police had also started searching for the woman after registering a complaint. On Wednesday morning, the police got a call from the local people that a dead body of a woman had been found on the banks of RK Beach. Police initially suspected that the woman might have been sexually assaulted and later murdered, but during subsequent investigation it was found that she was five months pregnant.
Suicide note recovered from the room
Police said that before leaving the house, the woman had an argument with her husband over the phone. The police have recovered a suicide note from his room and are probing it. He said that at present a case of suspicious death has been registered. Police said that the family members of the woman are also being questioned.
